Austin Brown joins the West Briar Band as a first-year teacher out of the University of Houston Moores School of Music. Mr. Brown studied Music Education with a focus in Saxophone under Mr. Dan Gelok. Mr. Brown played in various ensembles during his time at the University of Houston such as, the Symphonic Winds, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra, Cougar Brass, and the Spirit of Houston Marching Band. Mr. Brown enjoys jazz music, sports, nintendo games, and dogs.
